Skin Cancer - #2488
Description: This patient presented with a nasal deformity from excision of a skin cancer. This left her with a collapsed nonfunctioning right nostril. Nostril reconstruction was performed in a series of steps using borrowed cartilage from her ear and a flap of skin from her cheek. The lap first had to be tailored to mimic the shape of her nostril, and then in another step when the circulation was restored in its new location, the flap was released from her cheek and additional modifications were performed. Her nasal function and confidence has been restored.
