We offer two treatments for wrinkle reduction that are completely nonablative, which means that they cause no surface injury. Through selection of the appropriate laser wavelength and skin surface cooling technology, the epidermis is protected from injury, while the deeper dermis is heated. Heating of the dermis accomplishes collagen remodeling and rebuilding with improvement in skin surface characteristics like fine lines and moderate wrinkles and acne scarring.
Active acne is also helped by this technology which sterilizes the sebaceous glands along with rendering them inactive.
Before/After
We employ several non-ablative technologies including the rapid pulsed Nd:YAG laser (Lasergenesis), and mid-infrared lasers such as the Smoothbeam by Candela. There is minimal to no down time with these treatments, and a complete program consist of a series of four to six sessions scheduled two to four weeks apart.
