This patient came to us with active acne and scaring and was unresponsive to previous treatments that included prescribed medications. Over the course of approximately one year, she had undergone a series of Smoothbeam and V-beam lasers, followed by the renowned Fraxel resurfacing series for acne scaring. She is now being followed with photodynamic therapy and doing remarkably well.

He had been treated with aggressive medical therapy including topical agents and systemic antibiotics without long-term sustained improvement. He had no interest in Accutane.
